We all love spring and adding new plants to our gardens so we wanted to post a reminder to double check to be sure the plants you select are safe for pets and kids! Pets getting sick or dying from toxic plants is far more common than we could ever imagine!
They don't even have to eat the plant or seed to get sick! The poison oil from a trimmed or broken branch / leaf that they rub against can enter the blood stream....

We had an Amazing time at the Rally for Kids with Cancer. Over 110 celebrities and influential people participated to help raise awareness and money to help in cancer cure and research. California K9 Kitchen was happy to be part of the event. Here are a few photographs.

We want to let our loyal customers know that California K9 Kitchen products are not impacted by the Salmonella Egg recall. We do not nor have we ever used eggs from the farm or brands on the FDA Recall list.
As summer warms up; here is a simple to make frozen yogurt recipe you can make your pooch will flip over.
Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt 1- 16 oz organic vanilla or plain yogurt 1 cup all natural peanut butter 1/4 cup honey
Combine all ingredients and pout into muffin pans or ice cube trays. Freeze and serve!!! It is that simple!
Some other things you can do is substitute the peanut butter for a jar of banana baby food and toss in some chopped pecans.
Some more hits is to add some shredded carrots, fresh blueberries on top or even mixed with the yogurt.
